Registered under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1960 (Punjab Amendment) Act, 1957, The Delhi Advertising Club (DAC) was established on 9th January 1969 to act as a forum for the professionals from Advertising and Media to interact, share ideas and promote the interests of the brand communication business. Over the years the DAC as it came to be known became an active platform for the leaders in the industry from Delhi. The activities of the Delhi Ad Club evolved too. Seminars on topics of interest from the fields of Marketing and Communication to a PUB Quiz to Media Excursions to the coveted Delhi Ad Club -SAARC Awards for Excellence which reward outstanding ideas of the creative media and digital agencies from not just Delhi-NCR or other centres in India but SAARC countries too.
Under the patronage of Mr V K Chopra a veteran media personality the club has risen once again in the last 4 years after a spell of inactivity. The Delhi Ad Club is now widening its geographical spread to cover the NCR. It shall work towards ensuring a complete participation from all the Advertising, Marketing and Media professionals to make it the numero-uno platform for the networking and exchange of ideas.
In the year 2017-18 the new Executive Committee constituted by the members of the DAC has set a fast paced agenda for the inclusion of larger number of professionals especially the younger lot. A host of activities are being planned and conducted to keep the fraternity engaged.
